Food for thought . . .

  • why would Jesus need the Holy Spirit if He was God?
  • why does Jesus sit at the right hand of the Father in heaven if He is God himself?
  • why would Jesus need to be manifested if He was eternal?
  • why does Jesus never refer to Himself as God made flesh, but as the Son of God, and even more often, as the son of man?
  • was it actually possible for Jesus to sin if He was the incarnate Holy God?
  • how is a ‘person’ different from a ‘being?’ do they need different wills and thoughts? do they need to be capable of disagreeing, even if they don’t?
  • why is it so important to combine three separate things into one and make it an important Christian doctrine? is it just to cause division among believers, or is it to denigrate the achievements of Christ Jesus, God’s begotten Son, who was a man like you and me, felt love, shame and pain the same as you and me, but through all his tribulation, never once sinned, hurt or hated on those who hated and mocked and eventually killed Him?
  • is it to make Christianity sound just like the mystery Babylon religions with their trinities of lesser gods – Nimrod, Semiramis, Tammuz/ Osiris, Isis, Horus and so on, so people can say Christianity borrowed from paganism?
  • if Jesus was God’s second (and last) Adam, doesn’t this make His accomplishments even greater, and also give us an understanding of what a man being filled with the full measure of God’s Holy Spirit really looks like?
